Hey,

does anyone know where to get the 1.6-Gauges? I assume they include the UH-1-gauges from ceardarkz? https://github.com/cleardarkz/hawgtouch-gaugepack (or could someone with a working Visualstudio-install compile the gauge pack into the gauge-dll?)

If I launch the 1.5 with the demo config while the UH-1-module is running, hawgtouch is crashing, I assume because it does not get the correct data sets...? is that correct? I don't have currently a working A-10 installation to countertest, but I would like to use the instruments for the Huey...

There's no "Overkill". There's only "open fire!" and "time to reload".

Specs: i7-980@4,2Ghz, 12GB RAM, 2x GTX480, 1x 8800GTS, X-Fi HD, Cougar, Warthog, dcs-F16-pedals

we are working on a new version from Gaugepack, with instruments for "all" new modules.

If someone could jump in and help a noobie on HawgTouch, no matter what I do I cannot get the Data Export to work. When I click Enable I get an Unhhandled exception, could not find part of path "\Config\Export\Export.back".

I have tried setting up virtual cockpit server in all 3 flavors of DCS world but no go. All is runas administrator ad .NET4 installed???

Hello luisclement,

 

do not click the "Enable" Button on HawgTouch. This is from old, not supported, Version...

 

Download the new Export Script and follow the install manual

https://github.com/s-d-a/DCS-ExportScripts/releases

 

Have Fun with the new and last edition of HawgTouch...

A great resource light app... works a treat in the latest DCS World 1.5 (not beta) Sincere thanks to all involved and everyone have a great 2016 :)

Just downloaded HT and it's great I love it! but I can't get no export link I did everything right, double checked everything helios A-10C and KA50 profiles works with new export file, I can place the gauges and everything but when I launch DCS nothing moves anyone has the new version working since the patch?

Yes, it works fine...

 

Well I am kinda confused, 1.5 latest patch, put the script and export files in user, unlocked the permission for gauges and exe files got a green enabled and gauges files loaded in ctrl panel, can see the gauges on my 2nd monitor, what am I missing here?

A bit more info please...

 

Are you getting the gauge images but no needle movement...?

 

Are you getting nothing?

 

Have you configured the script as described in the pdf instructions..

 

Whats your OS? Is it Vista by chance.... and if so is windows is aero deskktop engaged?

No needle movement, win 7 64, I can see everything it's just not linking with DCS, Do you have to change anything in the script LUA file just to export gauges on a local machine? I thought it was pre config

Check your desktop is set to Aero.... and you will see needles move just fine if everything is set up...

If your desktop is not aero the needles will not display... :cry:

Aero is on I can see the gauges when you turn it off they go white, I did some test and I noticed that Helios changes my export file when I setup the A-10C or KA50 to work with DCS in the helios profiler but with a clean export file from the script master file from HT I don't see anything move either, but when I reset the enable button to get it back to a green ENABLED from the green HELIOS in HT app the export file is different from the one I extracted from the master, I tried to rextract the master export file and still nothing moves

 

SOLVED I was using the config button in the HT ctrl panel and the Helios profiler which screws up the export file all you have to do is change the port number and put a 1 or a 2 in the glasscockpit type line for it to work!

 

Thanks for all the input everyone! now I can enjoy this awesome piece of software!

use the correct ExportScript version for HawgTouch

Hello,

 

if McMicha or HJPuhlmann are there... :)

 

I tried with Hawgtouch and also with Ikarus, in DCS 1.5.3 and also in DCS 2.0.2, I found the same problem with the radio compass in the huey :

 

The heading is correct, but it seems something is broken with the needles
