tmahring Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 In version 1.5 to fix this problem? http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?...&postcount=193 This is actually a bug of the game. The keystrokes get sent correctly but the game doesn't do anything with them. Same when you use the keyboard for those commands.
ЛёхаUWSS Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 Well, let's hope that in the next patch will fix this problem.:hmm: * Win10 64 * Core i7 - 7700K * MSI Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon * 32Gb RAM 2667MHz * GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6 Gb * SSD 1TБ * * звуг: FIREFACE UFX * UAD-2 Quad * Steinberg UR22 mark2 * mic: NEUMANN U 87 Ai *
automag928 Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 What would cause some gauges not to work? All eng gauges work, and some flight instruments work, but some dont. Airspeed, AOA, HSI, Attitude indicator , HYD pressure dont work ? but flaps, fuel, work - any ideas?

Xxx Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 I have just downloaded v1.5 HT and when opening THMARING's profiles get the " error parsing profile..."? Is this not fixed? automag928 Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 Did you press update in main HT window under Data Export? I dont see an update on in the HT window? Data Export fields show DCS A-10 with a blue a-10 icon, says enabled in green, and disabled as a button to the right.

ClearDark Posted April 21, 2011 Author Posted April 21, 2011 Make sure the images are placed properly. Also, try download 1.5 again. I released a fixed version today after the initial release and you might have the old exe's.
tmahring Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 Ok, sorry guys I included the wrong file in my last release. Instead of my ShowcasePanels.xml I included the ShowcaseProfile.xml from HawgTouch 1.4. Download it again to have the right file.
C6_Hellfrog Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 we had the same regional issue with helios development about xml parser... it seems to be a "classic one"... do you plan to develop DCS BS input/output and other software/games support or not / only A10 ?
shu77 Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 This is actually a bug of the game. The keystrokes get sent correctly but the game doesn't do anything with them. Same when you use the keyboard for those commands. Is there any work around for this, a list of keys that work? I'm finding some keys just dont work, {RALT}X will get interpreted by the sim, but D or E will not, nor will RALT - or RALT ]. Its a bit of an easter egg hunt to find keys the sime will interpret. Not clear darks fault by any stretch, but kind of a nuisance for something complex like a radio set up. shu77 Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 OK Have done a little testing and interestingly this is the same issue I had with my X52 when I tried to use the pinky switch natively as a modifier. I have for example {RALT} A and {RALT} B as TACAN 10s increment. I can set up this combo using my Keyboard or by clicking add and tapping the Hawgtouch key, and it configures, but afterwards, I cant get the sim to acknowledge the key press from HT. HT server sees the key press and so does notepad etc. If I use LALT P for example the sim only sees that as P. In the end for the saitek I mapped my pinky to RALT and that worked with the button presses but this is just odd behaviour. You can change the keys the panels use easily in the xml files. Just search for the KeyCommand Tags. I will wait before tinkering with the CDU, if all the keypresses are not being used by A10c. Only the rocker switches are not recognised, all other buttons work fine.
shu77 Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 (edited) OK I think I have figured it out. If you save your keyboard profile, and open it you see a bunch of statements like this [483] = { ["combos"] = { [1] = { ["key"] = "[", ["reformers"] = { [1] = "RShift", }, -- end of ["reformers"] }, -- end of [1] }, -- end of ["combos"] ["name"] = "UHF 0.025Mhz selector decrease", ["category"] = "UHF Radio", ["pressed"] = 1212, }, -- end of [483] This one is for UHF 0.025 decrease. If you edit this line ["pressed"] = 1212, to be ["down"] = 1212, The Hawgtouch profile now works. It seems HAWGTOUCH doesn't like key presses with a 'pressed attribute' I made a copy of my Keyboard profile, made these changes then loaded it into the sim and it all started going. The only thing that didn't work for me was using the RSHFT modifier, but otherwise all seems good. Not quite sure of the implications of this change, so its probably a good idea to keep a back up. Its also worth noting that each keypress will decrease/increase the radios, but in the case of the 1Mhz, .1 and .0025 it does so by cycling through the whole number range. The same behaviour is noted if you use a key sequence on the keyboard. Looks kinda weird, but it seems its the sim rather than HT. I noticed the same thing occur when the keystroke behaviour was set to press rather than down. shu77 Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 (edited) Hey Cleardark, have it all working now with the exception of the UHF radio display. I think there might be a glitch in the code for it as I cant get it to update with my profile or yours. All looking good otherwise.
