Xxx Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 Has anyone any ideas how I can merge the xml files without getting parser errors!:helpsmilie: I have the two mfcd's and the ufc on my side monitor. Have just enough room for the CDU, which works, however when I try to add the xml of the CDU in to my mfcd/ufc file, I keep getting error messages! Cause I'm a thicko at xml, I cant seem to merge this file? Everything else works just great:thumbup: Is there an editor which I can use which corrects for idiots like me not knowing what to look for? Cheers. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]i7 Haswell @ 4.6Ghz, Z97p, GTX1080, 32GB DDR3, x3SSD, Win7/64, professional. 32" BenQ, TIR 5, Saitek x55 HOTAS. Search User Files for "herky" for my uploaded missions. ZeeGG Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 You should use notepad++ http://notepad-plus-plus.org/release/5.9 And copy and paste should do the job GG

Sarge55 Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 HI CD, Did a search and couldn't find which program to use and a "How to" for creating a blank panel which I can add gauges etc to. Is it possible to create and upside down T shaped panel? I want to position it between my two MFD Cougars I already have running on a 1280x1024 19" monitor. Plan to have the RWR, CMSC, HSI and ADI stacked between, then some key gauges etc below and to the side. To make places transparent, color them fuschia (255,0,255) Something like this: I would recommend tho creating one "bottom" panel and one "top" panel and then giving them coordinates to make them look like a rotated T shape. But it's up to you :) Edited April 23, 2011 by ClearDark

How do I get all the panels to display at once? I dont need the CDU to be in the "on" selection switch, Do I just delete the one line with "one"? Sorry for being stupid. This is new ground for me? :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]i7 Haswell @ 4.6Ghz, Z97p, GTX1080, 32GB DDR3, x3SSD, Win7/64, professional. 32" BenQ, TIR 5, Saitek x55 HOTAS. ttaylor0024 Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 I am trying to get everything up and running instead of having it sit here and do nothing... So here goes. First of all, can I have multiple tabs open at the same time? I have more questions, but I will just start with that.

shu77 Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 You can however make the tabs larger to accommodate more stuff. I an currently waiting on a video card for my second PC so I can run 2 monitors and spread my configuration out a bit more. Not having to fish around in the cockpit for radio controls is fantastic! chokko Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 (edited) gauge pack not loaded hi, when i launch hawgtouch 1.5 (downloaded today w/ gaugepack1.3), it says "gauge pack: not loaded" sure enough, any profiles loaded referencing the gauges come up blank in those areas. HawgTouch.GaugePack.dll (342k) is in same directory as the hawgtouch.exe what else must i do? cheers also, is it possible in future to define the tab window to display vertically instead of horizontally (user preference), to benefit those with small usb monitors in wide orientation and have spare vertical space at the RHS of the screen?
