Apparently you can drive the jeeps. UAVs I think there called.

 

Unfortunately you have to eject to get out of the Hog. And the pilot walks verrrrrryyyy sssssslllloooowwwwwlllyyy after ejecting.

 

I suppose you would though after the rocket seat exit, if at all.

Yes. I think you might have to wait a few seconds, up to a minute, after landing before moving becomes possible. Give it a go.

 

Unfortunately the head movement becomes disabled so you cant look about, other than by turning about. At least that is how it is on my system.

 

Press space to get in a UAZ. I think you have to use arrow keys after that, not sure because it crashed for me at that stage.

Last night on one of the Multiplayer servers I bailed almost on top of the SAM site support vehicles.

 

I walked over, safe distance and watched them fire off stuff and also get destroyed.

 

In FC pilot can run using the Ctrl+Z key or might have been in this original game here before the patches.

 

I use my joystick and various F keys and View keys to look around.

 

Pilot needs a .45 with bullets and a radio to call for the Jolly Greens. Also, if pilot had a LASER designator, he could light up the enemy vehicles for laser guided bombs.

I'm pretty sure you walk faster if you go diagonally! Also, don't worry about fires or enemies, the only thing that has killed me is water.
