I purchased A-10C through Steam and was configuring my Thrustmaster. Unfortunately, I must have entered a value that is conflicting with the operation of the sim. I have un-installed the game, and reset my Thrustmaster to default. I re-installed the game but it is still recognizing my earlier settings. When it is downloaded, I go to "take off training", but when it prompts to start, my pause/break button does not work. Looks like a great sim, would love to play it.:helpsmilie:

Browse your C: disk to: "C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games" and rename the "DCS Warthog" folder to "DCS Warthog_OLD" and then start the SIM with all the default settings.

Try looking here "C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\Saved Games\DCS Warthog\Config\Input\". If I was you I'd try moving the entire Input folder out of that location and putting it somewhere safe just incase the game doesn't create the new files automatically, which it should.

Edit: Sniped :)

A great thing about STEAM is how easy it is to reload without reloading. I had an issue where I was trying to use a X52 profile for an x45. From what the thread said it pretty much loaded some nice presets and you were almost good to go as is. It didn't work :P

I kept having issues with my controller..so, I deleted both of these folders:

C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\Saved Games\DCS Warthog

D:\program files\Valve\Steam\steamapps\common\dcs a-10c warthog\Config

I then went to STEAM, games list, right clicked the game title, went to "local files" and selected "Verify integrity of Game Cach".

It scanned, found the missing files, replaced them and I was good to go in about 1 minute.

I wouldn't recommend flat-out deleting your save game file if you have much time invested in your logbook though.

I agree, that's why I suggested to move the Input folder somewhere safe and try launching the game again.
