Ozz13 Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 I read where someone was going to host a full time server, up 24/7 Is there a dynamic campaign scenario like Falcon 4.0 had? From what I'd read and experienced thus far it looks to have campaigns broken down into bite sized pieces versus the Falcon approach of a continuously updated battlefield. but.. why else would someone want a server 24/7.. so, had to ask
104th_Crunch Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Missions can rotate with the upcoming Servman mod like they do now for FC2.
Ozz13 Posted May 6, 2011 Author Posted May 6, 2011 Can someone compare/contrast who might have played Falson 4.0? Never played FC 2
jeffyd123 Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 its just rotating missions ( Like on Iron Eagles Server) for the guys hosting 24/7. I guess its a good way for people to check out new missions and fly with real people if they arent in a wing. Simply no budget to make the awesome campaign engine of Falcon (Ive played it a lot). But the quick missions in A-10 are generated each time. Just read an article by the guy who made the campaign generator for Falcon 4.... very interesting read. It sure is a breathtaking thing to behold when theres 200 planes, 100 tanks and god knows what else on the battlefield all running around with a purpose. i7 8700K @ 4.4Ghz, 16G 3200 RAM, Nvidia 1080Ti, T16000 HOTAS, TIR5, 75" DLP Monitor
