Mule Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 glad to hear it :) but this post will get moved if not you owe me 20 pounds :) Fighter Pilot Podcast.
automag928 Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 Just out of curiosity, what happens with all the "custom" buttons that are specific to the A-10 when you goto use it with the next DCS sim? Like the Autopilot, EAC etc switches? I just hate to spend that much money for a HOTAS and then be "locked" in so to speak. Trying to decide on a X65 or a warthog...possibly upgrading my x52 as a graduation gift to myself :)
RogueRunner Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 They are seen as normal DX buttons in other games and can be mapped to whatever you like. With the price of ammunition these days do not expect a warning shot.
skouras Posted May 8, 2011 Author Posted May 8, 2011 you can do whatever you want with the buttons axes etc..:smilewink: [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]W10(64bit)Asus Rog Strix Z370-F - i7 8700K - Dark Rock Pro 4 - 16 giga ram Corsair vengeance 3000 - MSI RTX 2070 Super - Asus Rog Phobeus soundcard - Z906 Surround speaker - Track ir5 - HOTAS Warthog

BigBANGtheory Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 I have only recently made the jump from a Saitek Cyborg Evo to a TM Warthog and the difference is hard to put into words, I think I'm afraid to use it! btw is there a simple guide or diagram that explains the TM Hotas Warthog controls in DCS A10c? The quick start manual avoids this by saying what the keyboard mappings are rather than 'if I push that switch, its going to do do this...' and when you are in game I can't seem to pause and view the control mappings. Iam sure it makes sense to many, kind of tough on the newbies though ;)
MTFDarkEagle Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 @BBtheory: I'll refrain using the S-word ;) http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=69610 And to add my +1: The WH is amazing! The difference between this, and the x52 (my previous), is mind blowing! Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread
Phantom88 Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 Congrats BBTheory!!! ........Lukas,I'm coming from an X-52 to The "Amazing" TM WartHog also,And I love the difference!! :) The only thing I DO miss about the X-52 is The Mini-mouse stick. Is there anyway to map this in The TM WartHog? Thx! Cheers. Patrick

Ptroinks Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 The WH is amazing! The difference between this, and the x52 (my previous), is mind blowing! I don't think you can even compare them! The WH is waaay out of the X52s league! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
