Some of those big explosions in that video are from GBU-31s and as you can see, they **** up a *lot* of stuff. In-game they feel extremely weak... Additionally why isn't my A-10 that stable when using the gun :( They're not even using PAC! With PAC my nose pitches up (no rudder, no speed brakes, no flaps being used) so I have to use extremely short bursts. Without PAC it's just all over the place. Sounds like you're deploying speed brakes on your gun runs. With PAC this is a no-no. You should not have any noticeable pitch-up when firing with PAC enabled. EDIT: Woops, clearly should have read your post more carefully :). Not sure what it could be then, but something is certainly wrong. I get absolutely no pitch-up when using PAC. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
PhiXX Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 From my experience PAC-1 will only give good results when control inputs are kept to the absolute minimum. Just let it do the job and don't try to steer around to get hits on target. You should only engage pac-1 when your gun pipper is on target
