Hi everyone

Recently I've been attempting to complete the first mission in the Devil's Cross campaign. Everything goes fine - I start the engines up and fly to the contact point. I get the coordinates from JTAC. I fly to the IP at around 10000 ft. Then I tell my wingman to anchor here while I fire off my mavs at the first few tanks to stop their convoy.

As I break off after expending my mavs I tell my wingman to: Engage with -> armoured targets -> with mavericks -> at my SPI.

Now this is where it goes wrong. My wingman drops down to a very low altitude and starts heading towards the target. He is able to get maybe one mav fired before he is shot down by AAA.

This leaves me to finish off the remaining tanks on my own. The only problem is that I don't have enough CBUs to finish the job and am forced to use my GAU 8 and risk getting shot down (which is nearly certain).

My question is: How can I tell my wingman to be safe and come in from a high altitude at a high angle of attack like me?

My wingman likes to see the whites of their eyes before he lets loose a Maverick!

Next patch is supposed to deal with this.

I wish they could use the MIN ALT settings for the different weapon profiles and apply them to wingmen behavior.

How about asking them to hold where they like to drop down from alt. and run into mountains? And thenthere's their stupid JDAM runs at 3000 ft.

Will this mod be compatible with ED´s next patch?. It´s supposed they will tweak some AI engagement behaviours there.

I have no idea. I have no acces to 1.1.0.8. beta patch...
