I researched this, but Im surprised I didn't see anything on it.

There should be a sound effect that enables the moment you turn on the Oxygen flow till the moment you turn it off. The sound of the pilot breathing, especially when pulling hard G turns should be heard.

Im NOT saying it should be loud. But a settle sound like 5 or 10% volume of all other in cockpit sounds. In fact if it were in sync with the "FLOW" indicator on the Oxygen levels, that would be even cooler.

This sound will actually help remind me if I forget to enable the oxygen flow. What do you think?

Several FSX add-on aircraft have sounds of pilot breathing. My initial reaction was, "Wow, cool," and 5 minutes later I was trying to find some way to turn the annoying sounds off.

It's been awhile, but I don't recall any such sounds in the aircraft I flew. Indeed, we usually flew in the EA-6B with hot mics for intercom at all 4 positions and never heard anyone (except when they threw up).

I agree! That would be awesome... But how about taking it further with a mod that hooks up with a chest monitor and syncs the breathing sound with your own:) or you could simply use a mic, loop it through a filter for proper acoustics, and play it over the sim. Use a scripted trigger thingy for synchronization with in sim oxygen flow on/off :D

But seriously, that would be cool as hell, but as tailspin said, a option for on/off would probably be nice:)

There was a mod for that in FC1 and I think it's in FC2 also. I used it, but haven't looked for it in FC2.
