Hello,

I got an idea today for more individually rearming on ground.

I think of an additional menu item in ground crew->rearm with the name "individual". After choosing this, you have to chose the hardpoint, lets say f1 for hardpoint 1, f2 for hardpoint 2, and so on, then select a weapon type like CBU, GBU, AGM, and so on, and finally the specific weapon. And after this only your selected Hardpoint gets rearmed with the selected weapon.

This would allow to rearm everything you want, but the predefined loadouts are still there for fast and easy access.

What do you think about?

best regards

It may sound good for what you want, but it goes against real life. In real world an aircraft would never be sent back up with a partial load. The game simulates aproved configurations. Pilots don't choose their loadouts rather they are told what they will be working with, so compared to RL you have more control, its not so bad.

You're somewhat correct...I can tell you some of the training loads are realistic but not on what pylon they are loaded on. You will never find a bird with CAP-9, TGP, MAV on one side and only one mav on the other. The loadout in my signature picture (with the exception of the smoke generator and the high drag BDUs) is an actual load out we fly with.

You might have me there. I'm not that familiar with the 'scals' for the A10, but they do change with the quadron and tasking. I've only worked the F16 and the E models.

Well for training is a whole different animal - the pilots don't need a 'functional' loadout, just one of each sensor. For example, training on F-15s involves one AIM-9 and one AIM-120, because the missile isn't leaving the rail, you only need one to train with the sensor :P I imagine with Mavs you'd only see one -D and one -H. They just pretend to fire it and then reset the training load. All other munitions don't have their own sensors so they just simulate them being loaded.

It would be better to have Ground Crew, Rearming open a payload menu similar to that in the mission editor.

Nice plane on that gun...
