I've made a new sun effect based on your feedback.

Do you want this released as a mod or are you happy with the original sun?

 

PS I've kept the original glow settings for realism.

This version IMO looks better than your previous version, nice work :)

 

You know what would be best though...if you could figure out how to make the sun smaller overall, i don't think anyone has managed to do that yet.

 

edit: i think the sun is an actual 3D model and not just a texture, if someone could make a new one thats smaller it would be awesome

I have no idea how to change the size.

I have tried changing the texture but as you said, it's the model that needs to be smaller.
