Hi, I have 3 monitors, two 23" monitors and one 18.5", so I buy a touch screen kit to use it on the small monitor for the CDU. The installation of the drivers goes with no problem, the problem is that windows detect the small monitor as the third and the touch screen software don't allow me to select one of the three monitors, it by default "thinks" the touch screen kit is installed on the firts monitor.

I tried connecting the small monitor in the first slot of the video card, to be recognized as the first monitor, and then configure one of the two big monitors as the main one, but this doesn't work either, the touch screen software still recognizes as the first monitor, the one configured by windows as the main monitor, and when I touch the screen, it makes a click on one of the big monitors.

I've been searching for another third party software, but can't find anyone, can somebody please help me, with this.

I'm using Windows 7 64 bits and this is the link of the Touch Screen kit.

Thanks in advance :joystick:

I have this same problem with my touch screen, currently I use ultramon to save different monitor configs to different profiles, so I can have my touch screen set as my primary monitor for flight sims and then just use it a a normal non touch screen for normal use as a secondary monitor.

Unfortunately the only methods I've seen to fix the issue are useless, since I don't even have those options to me for some reason. (sorry, can't find the sites that had the instructions)

Have you tried these drivers?

http://home.eeti.com.tw/web20/eg/Touch_Drives.html

I only have a dual monitor setup but the software allows you to assign any of your connected monitors as the designated touch screen.

Launch the software and select the "Display" tab

Check the "Enable Multiple Monitors" box

Double click on your desired touch screen display (the numbered blue boxes) to assign and then press "Yes" in the popup diologue box.

Carry out calibration check under the "Tools" tab

Then press OK to exit

The option of ultramon sounds good, will have to try it.

I tried the software but unfortunately it doesn't work with the kit, too bad because it looks good with the option to select the monitor.

Maybe the best choice right now is sell it and save more money to buy a monitor with touchscreen integrated.

Anyway Thank you very much for your help guys, really appreciate it.

Do those drivers work for any touchscreen?

No, they only work for touch screens which use the egalax chipset, which a lot of inexpensive touch overlays use.

these guys have different size overlays for all sorts of monitors. based in Australia, but they ship international. might be worth a look. Drivers on their site iirc, and you can use win 7 calibration tool for it. FWIW.
