:helpsmilie:I know that there is a lot of information in the 9 line that the JTAC gives you but what are all of the 9 lines? I remember seeing a 9 line worksheet that can be filled out. I am going to go look for that again. After reading most of the threads by other people I realize that I have a VERY LONG WAY to go:(. Is there a tutorial for all the 9 lines of info.? Does someone have one? I am going to search the internet now to see what I can find. THX

EDIT: Found that worksheet. Gonna work with that for a while. Keep any input coming tho.

EDIT (2): AHH...found a couple guides for the 9-line...finally. I am pretty sure I will have questions later.

Nice links Eddie, definitely liked that example 9-line. Now only if the JTAC's in game were that intuitive as well! :) I know wishful thinking, at least its good we can roll in as AFAC in multi-player.

Yeah the JTAC really could do with some improvements, if it would just call you off correctly it would be a huge improvement, as it is now we have to sign out and then sign in again if they have additional targets, and if you don't you hang the JTAC. Very annoying midmission. :music_whistling:

In the radio comms section of the manual, page 644, there is a great description of the 9 line as it works in game.

Might not be perfect but from a mission building perspective it works rather well. Make a simple mission, place some targets, drop a predator in, assign it as a JFAC and go. I like the fact that I can set the JFAC to identify targets however I like, coordinates, willy pete, whatever.
