Hey guys,

as I grabbed the Warthog from batf1nk and it's now inbound to me, I'm allready thinking about modding it. I like the feeling and hall-sensor-concept of the Warthog as I tested it in-store, but I love my force-modded cougar. Is there allready any force sensing mod for the Warthog which I didn't find by forum search and google?

Also - does anybody has dcs F16-Pedals with gameport and have them converted to USB by a Gameport-USB-Adapter? I hate the thought of it, but I MIGHT sell my Cougar as I stripped my last reserves for the Warthog - but I'm not willing to give away those fine pedals, especially not while flying the Shark. And if that tear-smeared moment of cougar-selling comes, I need to reroute the pedals to USB as I don't have no gameport nor other connection possibility for the pedals natively.

There's no "Overkill". There's only "open fire!" and "time to reload".

Why just not use the Warthog stick on your force-modded Cougar base? All you sacrifice is one switch - less painful than stripping the WH in an attempt to mod it.

I'd second the above.

I have a Cougar and Warthog "combo" using TARGET.

While I use the Cougar mainly as a base to connect my rudders into nowadays, I could easily unscrew the stick handle from the Warthog and use it on the Cougar FSSB instead.

There is some testing happening so that the simpeds can be used without the gameport on the Cougar. Currently in work and when I know more I'll post it.

Uhm. I thought, by using the new electronics in the warthog combined with a good fs-mod I could get even more precision then I've with the fs-cougar, and I don't like the idea of having to use multiple gadgetry if I could unite it all in one. But that would be plan b, yes...

And thanks for the info, rehtnap. Will be glad to hear about.
