zorroperu Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 Hi to all, Is it possible to pass target information between Flaming Cliffs 2.0 and DCS Black Shark aircraft? We are playing multiplayer missions between FC2 and BS, but we don't know how to share information, in the same way as the Ka50 shares it using its datalink. Best regards, Zorro
GGTharos Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 No, it is not. They don't share the same sort of datalink, assuming the MiG is even equipped with anything more than the Lazur GCI datalink ... which is, AFAIK decidedly one-way in terms of sending commands: From GCI to MiG. zorroperu Posted July 16, 2011 Author Posted July 16, 2011 So, now the question is: If we are doing multiplayer missions with MiG29S on the superiority role, SU25T on the CAP and Wild Weasel role, and Ka-50 on the SEAD role... how do we share target info? Is it possible to share data through the AWACS or something like that? Thanks for your reply. Best regards, Zorro.
GGTharos Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 Nope ... get on teamspeak and use a bullseye system or sector system or something similar. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
zorroperu Posted July 16, 2011 Author Posted July 16, 2011 Hmmmmm, I feared that we would have to get to that... Thanks for the quick answer! :) I guess that's what is done in the real thing, when aircraft with different capabilities are involved... Best regards! Zorro.
