I have been flying the patrol mission, rotor anti ice on, and i have been gentle with the old girl, no over torque, betty tells me to turn the rotor anti ice on, so just to play by the rules, I turn the anti ice "off" then back " on" again, no weapons are flying, then all off a sudden EKAN tells me, "left engine oil pressure'' I lose my left engine , then it goes a bit un-gentlemanly, this happens at roughly the same time into the mission, only once have I managed to pass this point, without the left turbine going quiet, any ideas, as always, thanks in advance.

This does sound odd. Do you have a track. Might be handy. And yeah the EKRAN tells you to turn anti-ice on all the time even if it is on. If it's on ignore her. It doesn't sound like random failures or battle damage as that wouldn't be the same thing each time. This doesn't happen in any other mission? Also can you try not using the anti ice. I don't see what difference it would make but I've never used it for that mission and not had this problem. Alternatively if you have a corrupt mission in some way I can attach my version which I don't think is. One other thing. Roughly how far into the mission does this happen.

And Engine Anti-Ice?

There are 4 switches that need flipping to ensure the Anti-Ice system is 'online' - be sure that all are toggled on.

Edit: I forgot - the repeated warnings received does not necessitate you turning the system off and then on again: It just means that the conditions are right for Icing to occur. As long as your anti-ice system is on, you'll be good :)
