gazcrowbar Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 When the KC135 is damaged and an engine catches fire, the fire is not aligned with the actual engine as per this screenshot: Only a small detail, not saying it is remotely important, but thought I would point it out.
Eddie Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 Known issue, contrails and heat blur are the same as well. Already fixed for the next patch.
gazcrowbar Posted August 26, 2011 Author Posted August 26, 2011 Thanks, just thought many people wouldn't be shooting their own refuelling plane lol!
winz Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 I think that everybody who practices A2A refueling did shot down his tanker :D I certainly did :D The Valley A-10C Version Revanche for FC 3
Aginor Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 I did it as well.^^ Although it is a pity that the engine doesn't seem to take into account which type of damage it was. Once I "crashed" (2m/sec or so) nose-first into the "fins" of the boom and suddenly there were bullet holes in the tanker's right wing. But who cares, you aren't expected to crash into the tanker anyway. :D DCSW weapons cheat sheet speed cheat sheet
mvsgas Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 What part of the aircraft did you hit? I'm not saying DCS is 100%, but if you hit an engine (RL), you can expect holes like that, high pressure turbine coming apart would look like bullets holes. To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
