Razorback Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 Hi, I have already 2 monitors for the camera view and both MFCDs (Thrustmaster) running with A-10C. I am looking now for the CDU (full panel) on a third one (touchscreen). HELIOS seems to be the solution but were can I find some information about download (price ?), configuration and other things on this soft ? Thx Chris

You have to hit the cdu osb on the right mfcd to get the full cdu on one screen after you touch the hidden cdu/caution panel tab on the profile. Hope this helps. IT's now downloaded. My touchscreen is well connected, the profil is loaded and running with HELIOS, the CDU is displayed but I have no action into the game.... Why ???? I have made a very basic profle with only the A-10C VVI. No response from it when A-10C is running... Is it an existing tutorial or document with a step by step procedure ? The manual is very basic and some videos on youTube are made with previous version of Helios...
cichlidfan Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 It sounds like Helios is not linked to DCS. The first time you run Helios you have to execute a process that mods some DCS files so that Helios can work with them. When you start the profile editor there is an entry in the leftmost pulldown, Profiles, called Add Interface. Click that, then select DCS A-10 from the list. This will open up some dialogs in the middle area. The bottom one will have a button in the lower right saying Setup DCS A-10. You need to click that button. This needs to be done anytime you reinstall DCS. Also when you create a profile you need to add DCS A-10 as an interface each time you create a profile. This uses the same steps as above except you don't have to use the Setup DCS A-10 button each time. I hope that makes sense. Razorback69 Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Ok, now HELIOS is running, don't ask me how because I can't explain...:) I have still some trouble with copied profile. I am working on a CDU for A-10C. If somebody has a profile running with a CDU only, you are welcome... For sure, a large document how could explain step-by-step HELIOS could be very useful !!!!
