Oceansize Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 I swear I've dropped CBU's correctly before (the WCMD thingies, not the JDAMs), I don't know what I'm doing wrong all of a sudden. I slave every thing to my target in the TGP, DSMS shows the CBU's as 'RDY' (not ALN UNS), they are set to CCRP both in profile and on the HUD, and while I DO get a 'MAN RLS' cue to drop when I'm over the target, I'm missing my CCRP vertical line throughout the run. Then when the bomb is released, it spins uncontrollably end over end and detonates WAY off target. It would seem as if it is not aligned corrctly, but I swear I'm not doing anything differently during setup. I wait until my CDU is _flashing_ 'INS NAV RDY', then select NAV in the CDU, switch from HARMS to EGI, enable EAC, etc etc. DCS Millenium Falcon, please. She's got the mother of all pits! P.S. My av should give you an idea of how long I've been simming.
ilikepie Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 you would need to supply a track file for people to trouble shoot for you, just to see what you are/aren't doing. Action After Contemplation
SmokeyTheLung Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 The CBUs and JDAMS use your SPI for guidance, by default this will be your steer-point. If you want them to hit what you're viewing in your TGP, you must make your TGP line of sight your SPI (TMS up long with TGP as SOI) Hope that helps System specifications: Computer, joystick, DCS world, Beer
Oceansize Posted September 20, 2011 Author Posted September 20, 2011 Fixed itself by rebooting the entire sim, instead of rebooting just the mission. DCS Millenium Falcon, please. She's got the mother of all pits! P.S. My av should give you an idea of how long I've been simming.
