Doesn't work like that, it's the target (or a part of it) that has to be moving.

As Eddie said, the doppler filter takes out anything that is not moving !relative to the ground!. If that were not the case, you'd get all sorts of ugly ground clutter.

stealth aircraft : absent radar noise

 

:poster_offtopic: :D but stealth aircraft could be detected : the air reflect some radar noise so if radar is not filtering noise it should see a void noise zone where there is an stealth aircraft etc .. over horizon or below again void in middle ground clutter?:suspect: with automatic filters , and false alarm unfortunately too

Stealthy Aircraft =! black hole. :)

So what about putting a ring around the rotor, like a propulsor or an old G.I. Joe Cobra helo? :D
