Evil.Bonsai Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Nope, the bug is still present but you could load an earlier version until they fix this. Was able to connect, briefly, a day ago, but updated to latest last night. At the very least I can work on flying at contact position even if it won't connect.
hreich Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Just info about using only one throttle...I watched canadian tv show about pilots of F-18, and in there in one episode when they were practising refuelling, Ip told them to use only one theottle. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Pilot from Croatia
Dejjvid Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 A read a book by a former F-117 pilot. That aircraft share the same problem with underpowered engines, especially if you are loaded with weapons. He wrote that he pushed one throttle to 100% and used the other throttle to fine adjust when he had problems to catch up with the tanker. I think the idea is that you don't risk to cut the power too much so you fall too far behind, and then have to crawl back up again. Anyway, I don't use this technique in the A-10C, and have no idea if it apply in the sim, or is used IRL. I split my throttles so I can walk them back and forth and I have no issues with AAR (except this highly annoying piece of shit bug that ruin most of the A-10C missions and make me wonder what year ED decides its time to fix what they have broken....) 1 i7 8700K | GTX 1080 Ti | 32GB RAM | 500GB M.2 SSD | TIR5 w/ Trackclip Pro | TM Hotas Warthog | Saitek Pro Flight Rudder [sigpic]http://www.132virtualwing.org[/sigpic]
