Refuel, re-erm at Kobuleti

Am I being ‘special’ here or is there no facility at this airbase? We can do it fine at Batumi, etc.

Kobuleti is nearer the abandoned airbase that I and a few friends use as a lab for insane, (well ICE is insane ;), weapons experiments.

And when you taxi over the where the other aircraft are you sink in the tarmac.

Also this is in real life the Meria Airport. Kobuleti Airfield is in fact the kind of abandoned field we all know from the training missions. The names are wrong in the game.

aha. Is there a list of airports where you can refuel, repair and rearm?

Providing it's owned by your coalition you can re-arm, refuel and repair at any airbase.

What do i have to do to "own" an airbase? Just plonk some friendly units down?

Yep, either friendly ground forces within 2km or friendly aircraft set to take off or land from the airbase.

Interesting. Also see that 'our' Kopitnari does NOT have the Russian bomb damage (bombed by Russia 2008.)

Eddie, I can confirm a no-go on Kobuleti airbase. I have 4 trucks in the area and 4 Apache helos actually startup, fly, and land in Kobuleti airbase. Still cannot re-arm/refuel.

 

Is there something I'm missing? What radio freq do I have to be on? In Bantumi, even without fiddling with the radio freqs, I just call up repair/re-arm on the intercom and it works. Not so in Kobuleti.

Hmmm... the scenario we are doing is startup at Bantumi, play at the range, then rearm at Kobuleti. So far we cannot seem to do this.

 

And the track did not show your aircraft being rearmed either.

Eddie I Had the same issue last week in a multiplayer mission. you put units from your coalition in kobuleti but the airfield is in Neutral. I've tested in my computer hosting the mission and it works, but when I upload the mision to my dedicated server (a machine dedicated only for the game) it doesn,t work.

Ah, if you're joining an MP mission after it has been un-paused then yes you'll have issues in 0.9.

 

Fixed in 1.0.
