Problem with activating engine throttle levers in the cold start mission. Keyboard Page up and Page down commands have no affect and the mouse cursor does not change to green when positioned over the throttles. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

They aren't clickable in game. Make sure sure they are mapped properly.

Options -> Controls -> Aircraft (Ka-50 Sim) -> Ins Engines start-up control panel and levers

Then at the bottom make sure Throttle down (Idle-Medium-Auto-Full) is mapped to PageDown and Throttle up (Idle-Medium-Auto-Full) is mapped to PageUp.

Might you be mistaken the throttles for the engine cut-off valves, you know the levers opposite the throttles, with the red handles on them ?

No mistaking the throttles for the engine cut-off valves which do work fine in the sim. But still having problems with no throttle control. Changed to another keyboard with no effect. Everything else seems to work as it should so far.

Did you imported your control profile from previous BS1?

Is there a step by step on this? I had this exact same problem, and all the axis for my X52 and pedals are borked on BS2. I searched for the lua (i think it was?) and couldnt find anything.

I'd love to copy over a file and have it work again, as i've been unable to get it to work since I bought BS2 :(

Someday we'll look back on all this and plow into a parked car.

Hey Guys, I was able to successfully link the throttles to my HOTAS Warthog throttle slider and they work fine with that. But no response as far as the keyboard.

I don't know if this is related, but I'll mention it here anyways... I had problems when I tried to reassign the throttle keys. After assigning them, the keyfile had wrong numbers in the up= .. and down=.. lines for throttle control. Replaced the numbers with those from the original keyboard file using Notepad++ and it worked (sorry I don't have the correct numbers here right now). So if you've made changes in the key assignments it is maybe worth checking the nyumbers for throttle control in the key file in My Games folder (Win 7). Also make sure that no other software or drivers is interrupting your keypresses.

I have the same problem. I have just upgraded.

I tried BS1 up and they work fine in that but in BS2 whatever I do, nothing.

I have tried mapping the controls to different keys and also to buttons on my joystick and neither one is working.

It's very frustrating.

I have also just found that the trim key / joystick button doesn't work either.

I remapped all my engine level / throttle levers to my numpad on the kboard. Works great,,maybe give that a try. As for inporting your old BS1 profiles to BS2..don't...They will not work. I had to reinstall the sim to sort it all out the first time I did it.
