I don't Have a CMSP(EWMU) Panel I have been looking for one for over a year now. I don't have a spec on that panel but some good pics and drawings. The photo-etch site has the best pic IMO there is some distortion but no knobs or switches to get in the way.

http://www.photo-etch.com/EWMU%20with%20Caution%20Stripes.html

I think the switch is a pull to get out of off if you scoped it out to 36 deg it would be in line with a 10 position rotary switch with 5 active positions possibly a 42D36-02-2-AJN Grayhill rotary.

The Flat top locking toggles switches I do have are the 12TW1-50M, MS 27754-5M .The jet switch is an 8857K45 MS25125-C3.

but if you use it with the drawing from the F-16 MLU manual you should be able to scale it out just remember light plates are a couple of hundreds of an inch smaller than the back plate

Thanks for the link on the switch. I was looking at these Grayhill 56D36-01-1-AJN... much cheaper but has a 1/8" shaft instead of the 1/4".

I had the part numbers for the Flat Tops, but probably going to start with much cheaper non-locking versions (Honeywell NT or LT series). The 11TW1-5M/12TW1-5M $91 a pop unless I can get a group order to get 10 or more then I can get them for $56. Are there any more panels that use them?

The 12TW1-50M as far as i know this is the only panel that uses it $56.00 a switch is a good price about what i got mine for. Yes I know $200.00 just in switches is fricken nuts but when you have everything else it looks stupid to through a bat switch in there

CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.

The 50 switch is on-on -(on) witch will work for the EWMU(CMSP) panel . The 5M switch is ON OFF ON witch is no good because the panel is labeled is off at the bottom OFF ON MENU

information in under the specs tab

12TW1-5M http://sensing.honeywell.com/index.cfm?ci_id=140301&la_id=1&pr_id=125252

12TW1-50M http://sensing.honeywell.com/index.cfm?ci_id=140301&la_id=1&pr_id=125214

You know what the difference is between the 50M vs the 5M?

Thanks. I was looking that TW series spec sheet and it didn't have a 50 listed only the 5. I can account for the on-off-on inside Helios so no big deal there so which ever is cheaper will work for me.

There are several different variation on the M switch I was lucky and found 4 12TW1-50M on eBay from PLC Center they have tons of switches and electronics a great seller with great service.

http://www.onlinecomponents.com/honeywell_12tw1-50m.html?p=11913056 has a couple at $71 a bit high but the 5M are $79.00 and http://www.powell.com/prod_search.php

does not have any in stock either

Not sure if this applies, but I use an ON-OFF-(ON) switch (real cheap) for the Off ON MENU switches. Through the LUA file you can assign the [toggle] button "down" to be OFF and button press "up" to be ON. Same with the MENU [momentary]. "Down" is MENU, and "up" is ON. This behaves the same way any other ON-OFF-ON switch would work in game. I believe it's easily completed in HELIOS, as well, if you don't want to dig into the lua.

As far as the casting of the knobs, I either would like none or only a select few, making it less practical on a cost of production standpoint. Great idea, though, for the full-pit people!

Deadman, I have a few one-off knobs already so I would need "almost" a full set I guess. I'm pretty sure I have the knob for the EWMU panel, it has a rounded grip and has some extra height at the bottom to fit the recessed area in the panel. I'll check to make sure, if so I could cast it and send to you so you can reproduce it.

Also, I would be looking for just the grip of some of the knobs with an engraved disk on them like the two on the environment panel and one on the intercom panel. What were you planning to do for those?

OK first lets Stop talking about Switches please.

All the knobs would be cast as I said the painting and or engraving would be up to the buyer to do .I would perfer to sell complete knob sets and not individual knos or small sets for two to three panels but we will see if there is the demand first the investment could be more than i wish to make. I realy don't want ten sets of knob on the shelf.

HI Guys sorry I have not posted before but several things have come up in real life that i have had to take care of.

With the Christmas season up on us I have had delay the knob project do to lack of cash.

The response was very limited with only 13 people interested in full sets and with Dunk from another form closing shop. He was loosing money building replicas. I cannot risk the investment in material and tool to correct get the job done.

I have reevaluated what i will build and when. I need the Main instrument panel Fire pull housing and frame of the pit.

I may sell of a few extras panel i have after the New year when other may have the cash available to purchase them

I will post any link to the sale when it happens Thanks

Hey Guys thing have finally calmed down between R.L and covers just a few more sets out the door and i am done with those. Any way I have returned to looking at casting clear knobs.

I have not heard back from Paul on what type of knobs are on the Avionics Auxiliary Panel.

I am just looking for an idea of what you guys want. So i can purchase the correct equipment

Would you want the knobs drilled for the rotary shafts?

What size 1/8 or 1/4?

what about set screws?

drill and taped the set screws?

Paint and laser the? for this option I would have to talk with y2kiah or Gadroc for the laser work HARS Panel LAT dial?

ENVIRONMENTAL Panel Flow Level and Temp Level knobs?

Intercom Panel Rotary Selector Dial?

So let me know guys Thanks

I have done engravings for the ENVIRONMENTAL Panel Flow Level and Temp Level knobs, it's no problem I can do more if needed, along with the ones for other panels. The edges would just need to be painted. Anyone who needs them can contact me directly, I will do ONE run and I won't do it until there are enough requests.

Sorry for delay. Haven't been able to be on the forums as much as normal recently.

Obviously if you drill it's easier for us, also you can create a set of jigs to do several. If you do pre-drill the shaft I would make it 1/8", that way it's usable for both. You're setup/jig gets center and if someone needs 1/4" they can just use the 1/8" pilot hole to drill the 1/4". I wouldn't want to pay a lot extra for drilling though.
