Fish Posted November 12, 2011 Author Posted November 12, 2011 (edited) From the silence i must infer that it can't be done !! hmm :( There's little point in having this functionality if it must be reset each time a new patch comes out. MTFDarkEagle Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 On point: I don't know. Off point: It might be worth waiting for more than 2 hours for an answer ;) Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread
Aries Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Yes it can be done... Just copy the previously backed-up C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\DCS Warthog\MissionEditor\logbook.lua file and there magically re-emerge all your hard working flight hours, ranks & medals... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] ...the few, the proud, the remaining...
Fish Posted November 14, 2011 Author Posted November 14, 2011 Off point: It might be worth waiting for more than 2 hours for an answer ;) Pls check the dates of both posts!! :music_whistling: Yes it can be done... andyfoot Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Mine transferred automatically. I uninstalled 1109 from the "All Programs/Eagle Dynamics/Uninstall" link, didn't delete any other files/folders, then did a full install of 1110. All my previous settings and logs remained intact. I did make a copy of C:\Users\Andy\Saved Games\DCS Warthog just to be on the safe side, but haven't had to use it.
Aries Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 ED advises to delete the "\Saved Games\DCS Warthog\" folder prior to a full install... You may, or may not have anomalies... who knows... ;) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] ...the few, the proud, the remaining...
andyfoot Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 If I experience any problems, I'll report back, but I have limited time available at the mo, so not getting many flying hours in.
Fish Posted November 15, 2011 Author Posted November 15, 2011 ...copy C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\DCS Warthog\MissionEditor\logbook.lua...... Sweet. No 'anomalies' so far :smilewink: Fish's Flight Sim Videos [sIGPIC]I13700k, RTX4090, 64gb ram @ 3600, superUltraWide 5120x1440, 2560x1440, 1920x1080, Warthog, Tusba TQS, Reverb VR1000, Pico 4, Wifi6 router, 360/36 internet[/sIGPIC]
