  2. same here... black cursor in ST... ...MT was great but from last update i get like 23 fps in it versus normal 90/45 ASW framerates in ST 7800x3d, 64gb, 7900xtx, Quest 2 over Virtual Desktop...

  4. Thanks on this info... I just upgraded to 7800x3D & 7900XTX and was having a lot of questionmarks cause this "beast" was behaving like the old 10600K/3090Ti next to it... "Screenshot" is from 2D usage. not VR...
  5. Nice "medium" spec bro... (pre-last gen AMD fastest CPU & GPU)... I switched recently to 7900XTX from 3080 and boy oh boy does it look nice on max Virtual Desktop streaming quality with Quest 2, and keeps up the necessary 36FPS for ASW to run the damn thing smooth (even on a mediocre 10600KF)...

  7. Seems like it went into this last OpenBeta version... although not mentioned in changelog... I got definitively better moving vehicle distinction from background on IR Mavericks seeker picture in Viper...
  8. Yes... this... TGP WHOT/BHOT hardly usable to spot armor... and also IR Mavericks...
  9. What is the status on this? Using IR Mavericks on Viper is a pain... targets simply are not hot or distinguishable from the surroundings... Also TGP WHOT/BHOT don't seem to pop up targets at all (armor, tanks)... In old A-10C times this worked really nice... then targets would somehow be a little jiggly against the background... it was a little cheat mode but worked... Am I doing something wrong?
  10. Nothing special... just like always... Start VD Streamer on PC, start Virtual Desktop in Quest 2 headset... wait for connection and then use Launch game from green tray icon and point to MT DCS.EXE... I updated Quest 2 & VD Streamer to latest versions also... don't know if that affects anything...

  12. So we will actually never again be able to run Virtual Desktop on MT version in Oculus API? I mean WTF?!?!? This can't be the answer... Implementing what you asked for (--force_OculusVR) is such a reasonable path/solution...
  13. Is there a way to launch MT with Virtual Desktop through Oculus API in the latest patch? Anyone tried?
  14. Why is MT force into OpenXR with existing active Oculus API? Normal version starts in Oculus API which Virtual Desktop uses normally... MT starts in forced OpenXR and crashes with Virtual Desktop on Quest 2... Is there a command to force Oculus API on MT version to be added in icon shortcut?

  16. Check this out... single-handed strike on Beirut airfield last night... Went in with Su-25 (4xS-24B), double Rolands started firing... I evaded a load of missiles and managed to damage the radar of one battery... and they went silent somehow... Then I caught two Viggens in the corner of my eye that just landed from an anti-ship strike... Roared through them in a nice dual S-24 pass... Unfortunately, went out of fuel and crashed a couple hundred meters from nearest rwy... Why would the Rolands stop firing?   18. Just shut up and pay this great third party's hard work & devotion. I mean... Aerges emerged pretty silently... zero drama in their communication with the community... they came out as clean as one can get with this release. Silent for some time, then few pics, few youtube vids... then a medium hype-up by known youtubers & the cool tease on facebook by daily screenshots before release... also, PDF manual upfront. You get 3 years of pure love, passion & hard work... as you can read elsewhere it's airforce family legacy we are talking about here... First reviews show excelent flight model and almost complete systems... You don't buy the module... you reward the people who make your hobby exist... Use your frikkin ED miles...
  19. Solved this by reverting to 21.3.2 version of AMD drivers and putting the ASW mode in Oculus Tray Tool to 45 (non-forced). Wobble is gone and smoothing works without that nasty ghosting...

Yup, 6700xt here too... waves, distortion & strange ghosting/lag with Oculus Quest 2 ASW on, while let's say, doing a standard test... rolling your plane while looking to the side at a populated area... When ASW is off, the waves & distortions are gone and the ghosting too... but there is is the lag & jumpyness of a nonn-smoothed VR experience... Must be some AMD driver thing... Which VR hedset do you use?
