cerwin Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Howdy folks I cant seam to get the colective to work with my X65F. BS1 maps it to "X-Axis" BS2 maps it to "Slider 1" Ive tried both slider1 and x-axis with the x65f throtle linked and unlinked. Cant seam to get it to control the colective. never had a problem with BS1 Any help would be apretiated. 1
masterk Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Hi, I use the X-65f myself and have no problems with it. I have assigned Joy_slider1 to collective axis, and it works. Does your other axis work ok? (Cyclic pitch & roll, rudder) 1
159th_Viper Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Ensure you move the throttle through it's entire range of movement, ie all the way fwd and all the way back until it gets picked up/recognized. You need to delete your Users/<username>/Saved Games/DCS BlackShark 2 folder and run the SIM again - it will automatically create another folder with the default inputs. First step i've done when installing it was loading my joystick settings from bs1. Maybe files are not compatible? And i've also noticed that in game mode default collective is z axis not slider 1 Edited November 13, 2011 by renders 1

But i must of missed somthing because it still hade my stick mappings. Formated hard drive. Reinstalled win7. Now it works great. Thanks for all the replies. Im sure there is a solution without starting all over but no worries!!
