WildBillKelsoe Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Hello, it came to my attention to post this for the default installed missions part of the Georgian Oil War campaign (1st part after deployment). Why the lack of so many night missions? What about those fancy deployment missions? I mean Russia is indeed fighting BLUFOR, but for the love of me, no diplomat eviction missions? No downed pilots rescue missions? I mean I wanted something different instead of the usual deathmatch I'm flying on daily basis. Speaking of which, is it possible to include a limousine in the upcoming flaming cliffs 3? If you played Comanche 4, there was this mission where you're escorting a VIP to either (IIRC) a fat albert, or out of town. I know I could change the entire missions array to night via ME, but why not there by default ED??? I'm itching for the new DCS Aircraft and I'll hold you to your words: "Point 5: The next DCS US fixed wing will be worked on in parallel" And that means that by the time FC3 is released, the new jet will be there as well. Sorry Jocks, but I'd rather stick to the shark and put foot in new aircrafts. Also, I hope the damage model and flight dynamics of FC3 is equivalent to BS and A-10. Those were possible because of a new engine, and I certainly hope FC3 will have a new engine, and most importantly, the same cockpit zillions of buttons and CDUs and UFCs/Abris/Shkval you've blessed us with. AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.
213 Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 they have other helicopters for that. k-50 is not designed for night operation. I didnt get that at all. Being worked on at the same time does not mean they will be completed at the same time. I imagine with the fidelity involved, DCS Jet will take quite a bit longer... Someday we'll look back on all this and plow into a parked car. i7-930 @ 3.8ghz, 6GB Corsair Dominator 1600, EVGA GTX470, OCZ 60GB SSD, TrackIR 5 Pro, Win7 64 And a 46" LCD at 1920x1080 to enjoy the goodness :joystick: :pilotfly:

WildBillKelsoe Posted November 18, 2011 Author Posted November 18, 2011 It can do night ops.... he meant FLIR and all other techno geek sh1t... In reality no, at least in the Hokum A, but B could since it has the modern sophisticated FLIR thingy... talking about Erdogun variant. There was prototype 50's that has night capabilities (Ka-50N and Sh) but the operational ones do not. The Ka-52 has night capabilities, but that is a different aircraft altogether. The commonality between 50 and 52 is roughly equivalent to the commonality between UH-1 and AH-1. Not that blackshark and A-10 are not, but we could see better, and I'm sure you'll be doing just fine!:pilotfly: ..... DCS A-10C and BS2 are top quality simulations. You won't find a higher fidelity on the market. So, well, while more quality is always a nice thing, let's give ED what is their due: these are empirically top quality products. Itkovian

Tango Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 I'd love to see a Falcon-style dynamic campaign engine. That would add a whole new dimension to the sims. Best regards, Tango.
