Guest IguanaKing Posted September 10, 2005 Posted September 10, 2005 According to all the info I have read, the 10 has a Mk84 as its explosive core.
MikeRocker Posted September 10, 2005 Posted September 10, 2005 My mistake! GBU-10 and -24 differ in guidance section, but share the Mk-84 (or BLU-109) warhead. Even bigger bang then! :D

peterj Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 I think it has been discussed before but i couldn't find that thread. Will the ka-50 in 1.2 carry the r-73?
GGTharos Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 Unlikely - the real thing hasn't ever even fired one, AFAIK, or even an R-60. If you get AAMs it'll be more likely in the form of wingtip igla stacks, like the Apache's stinger stacks. Force_Feedback Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 The real thing (even the v-80) has both carried and fired the R-73 on the outer pylons and is also able to carry a 2xIgla rack on the outer pylons Creedence Clearwater Revival:worthy:
GGTharos Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 According to a certain Russian helo pilot, that is actually not true. Unless I misinterpreted something. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
