LankNZ Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 What about skeletal eagle wings. Might match the skeleton figure on the tail?
BrumTx Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 What about skeletal eagle wings. Sounds like that would look good:) Remember the 346 Fire Fighters, Medics & Police who died on 9-11....... Selective memory is a wonderful thing, especially when certain posts simply disappear into the ether never to be seen again, unless I have a copy of the original post copied and pasted into word documents and saved .... just in case :) Am I an abusive idiot ? Due to physical incapacity my Wife types my post's for me

WarriorX Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 Looks like Multicam...nice! Crye Precision would be proud. I think less is more in this case, the skin looks "busy" by itself. Adding another graphic to the wings might be too much. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] "Is that you John Wayne?.......Is this me?" Adding another graphic to the wings might be too much. It is multicam! :) You might be right. I played with some ideas, but in the end I scrapped them because it just looked too cluttered. I was playing with the idea of a cloth texture to make it look like it flew through a ships sail. but it just looked like a really bad oil leak. Smasher Posted December 6, 2011 Author Posted December 6, 2011 What about skeletal eagle wings. Might match the skeleton figure on the tail? Good idea! I'll look into it and see if I can come up with something decent. Smasher Posted December 6, 2011 Author Posted December 6, 2011 Very cool, have do get the front so smoth, i have problem to match the nose with the side sections... The nose was a B*T*H!!! I spent at least 16 hours on that part alone. I basically eyeballed it to get the pieces in the right general area. Then after I knew I had the right surfaces covered I just moved them bit by bit into the right position. That is the last time I do that! There has to be a better way, I just don't know what it is. Smasher Posted December 6, 2011 Author Posted December 6, 2011 Very difficult to get the head right, 5 hours man. Have to get the bears head longer upon the nose... Nice work! It looks like it is coming along. It is really easy to get discouraged after you spent 4 hours on just lining up three panels. I should have kept some of the pictures of what it looked like when I first started. Keep it up, it looks good.
