Spetz Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 (edited) Description: While turning ADF knob after initial setting (doesn't matter what #), after you turn it again, the sim crashes. To reproduce (did it 7 times in a row): Loaded a custom mission (included) starting on the runway at Krymsk. 1. Place TLF/TGF in TGF 2. Turn ADF freq to #3 3. Ensure Conpass mode on 4. Switch R800 radio to ADF mode. (at this point the HSI works fine) 5. Turn ADF knob to anything else and The sim crashes. A track file would not save. I attached a file I found the the BS2/log folder, it had "crash" in the title. Renamed it to .TXT in order to upload. EDIT: Err, wait - why does Windows report "DCS:A-10C Warthog" to fail? EDIT 2: Just created an "empty" (just one Ka-50) mission, starting at the Krymsk runway. Same symptom, easily reproducible. speckfire Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 I'm getting something funny here. I was able to to reproduce this issue at Mazdok but not on the coastal airports like Sochi and Gelez during a cold start. Speed is life !!!

With it on, the game crashes if you: a) change the channel or b) switch inner/outer NDB setting. Furthermore, the HSI ADF needle does not work if you manually dial in an NDB frequency and set the ADF switch to on.

Easily done. Now: Maykop, "takeoff from ramp", to lazy to switch on everything, so I just powered the communications equipment and the NAV stuff (INT.COM on, VHF-2 on, NAV on, nothing else). No crash, I can play with the switches and still live ;) However, every time I switch the ADF channel now, I see something like the Morse code of the station being displayed in the upper left corner (see screenshots). However, I managed to save a track (ADFCrash2) that displays the actions taken. About a second or so before the end of the track, I saw the windows error message.
