WildBillKelsoe Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 hello, I'm trying to render a multiplayer track in the RAT tool, and I keep getting the F10 map with a flashing pause by the timestamp, and not my actual cockpit view in game. Is there a way to cut the track till entry to cockpit? Our server admin unpauses the game and we're all in the cockpit, but after saving client side track, I keep getting the lousy F10 map. I tried pressing pause to see if it affects playback then subsequent rendering, but the map is stuck to the track... Nate--IRL-- Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 You can use the FPS indicator to verify the track is running and use CTRL -z to fast forward to the point you need. Unfortunately it is not possible to edit time in the track. Nate Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading
159th_Falcon Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 True, however in the RAT tool in the mission editor you can set Start and Finish fields so it will only record that part of the track. So for example a given track starts at 12:00:00 and finishes at 13:13:31 Then in the RAT you can set it to start at 12:55:24 and finish at 13:10:00 Should do the trick. Ok, you dont seem to understand the dilemma. When the server is up, the host pauses the game pending our entry to the cockpit. This pause is in the track. If he pauses the game for 3 minutes, 3 mins will be in the track. I tried loading the track as a replay, but unfortunately, I have to press pause for it to start. The F10 map is the screen immediately before actual cockpit view and unpause. When the track starts to render, I see the F10 map, with Pause (P) flashing by the time stamp. And if you compare it to the replay procedure above, the fate is same. Here is the track in question: Now try rendering it with the RAT tool, it will be stuck at the pause screen (which is the F10 map screen). Tried setting time to 8:45 till end, no go. Is there anyway to prevent pause screen from being captured in the track? at least surgically eradicate it from this track? All I want, is for the track to start at the cockpit, and with the performed head movements. It sorta helps see my performance better, and benefit to my clan as well. Worth mentioning, is that I also have the server side track (courtesy of CAT from mercs), but he was running A10c while we're running BS2, so his track should work on A10, but it will be his cockpit(A10), and not mine (Shark). 159th_Falcon Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 What version of BS did you use? BS, BS2.1.1.0 or BS2.1.1.1 ??? I tried getting it to work whit BS2.1.1.0 but can't seem to be able to record using the RAT tool. Same issue whit the F10 map. The replay does work though. Tried replaying the track, exiting and then chose save track from options screen to make a new track. And use that new track in the RAT tool, same issue though. running out of ideas.... Hello falcon, I'm using 1.1.1.1 version (latest patch). I tried loading the track in the mission editor, set mission start time to 8:35 instead of 8:30, set the pilot skill to player instead of client, hell I even disabled F10 Theater map view from mission options, yet it still shows the darn thing. I've called my old friend to this thread, he'll be the one cracking this. But you too try and let us know. AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS Fat T is above, thin T is below. Bucic Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 (edited) This seems to be a known bug Ah rgr then. :( The issue is the exact same as eXecutor has with his MP tracks (post #50), so I'd be willing to assume this is happening to everyone who tries to use RAT with client-side tracks. Thanks for not using the main RAT topic http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=53839 to discuss this :) Edited December 21, 2011 by Bucic F-5E simpit cockpit dimensions and flight controls Kill the Bloom - shader glow mod Poor audio Doppler effect in DCS [bug] Trees - huge performance hit especially up close
