Also be cool if allied ground forces have some way of id'ing themselves , like a daydlo panel on a tank , or a dayglo panel laid on the ground at their location . Maybe im askin for a bit much ?
Demongornot Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Actually we have the zoom function, that reproduce the binoculars and without a nice animated pilot body with hands and nice 3D model for binoculars, the only thing that ED can do (and will never do sadly) is to made a binoculars style (just two circle for the view) For friendly ID the TGP can identifying them, i know its not perfect but for the moment we don't have more and ED don't really be focus to everything close to eye candy... There are plenty of first hand reports describing A-10 pilots using binoculars in the past. Not saying it was a majority but it certainly was not a rare occurance either. How prevalent it still is I could not say and perhaps it is less common today but I suspect it still occurs.
