I have BS1 (1.0) via Direct2Drive installed. I downloaded and paid for BS2 upgrade. (I downloaded the BS1.0 to BS2upgrade: 1.1.1.1 patch)

 

I can play single player fine in BS2. But when I try and login to multiplayer it gives me that message???

 

 

Help?

It's something to do with tying the serial number to the DCS website account but I can't remember much about it.

As stated above, avail yourself of the official support structure.

As a minor note, customer support may be slow until January 8th, since most staff is off for christmas.

 

Do you have a separate account for online use? It should detect fine if you use the exact same account you used to purchase the simulator on digitalcombatsimulator.com.

I actually did.

 

The support ticket was the first stop. Second stop was the forums.

 

And the forums are as useful as the support ticket system. So where is the refund request button?

Guys, no bashing please. We'll either solve this here or wait until christmas ends and the offices get fully staffed again.

 

(For those who are unaware: christmas may be over in the west, but in Russia it's on Jan 7th.)

 

Also, KENCO, it does not take a "somewhat unpleasant post" to get a response, but a "somewhat unpleasant" response will however make people less likely to take time away from their families to help you. Moderate your attitude and you'll get help. This may be something as simple as a slight server malfunction and it will get adressed.
