I think, AGM-65H is not working @ night and AGM-65D has no force/correlate mode. Use the more explosive big brother. The AGM-65G. Has an IR seeker and force correlate is possible. 'Frett'

Keep in mind that last time I checked I had problems with SAM systems. In any event, what you are doing is correct and advisable against SAM systems (forced correlate), allowing you to effectively neutralize all MERAD and SHORAD systems from a relatively safe range.
