Hi

I'm currently stuck in the SP campaign mission 3-1-0 (CAS / help x and y attacking z). I flew this one at least 5 times, but never got the "Mission accomplished" message. The target waypoint lies between two groups of targets and I cannot kill all of them in a single approach, because I would run of ammo at some point. I'm not sure which targets will trigger the message. Is there a way to figure this out?

You can open the mission in the mission editor and see the triggers...

Looks like you have to clear enemy targets first and then use F10 in the radio menu (other) to tell the m1a1 and m1a2 platoons to move to Alaska (which is a trigger and I think completes the mission).

So make sure you send them to the trigger...

Good luck!

Don't forget to use F10 to bring in the additional AI CAS flights. On these missions I usually wait for the second wave of CAS to have had time to do some damage before having the ground units move up.

Uhm yeah, I actually never realizied that I have to contact the ground forces. However, this seems pretty logical to me now, since I never saw someone fighting down there :)

For me, these tend to be long missions, as I will usually RTB and get re-armed

and re-fueled, and take another run before cutting the CAS'd armor loose.

They tend to get chopped up pretty well if there are even a few stragglers, and

then you will get the mission failed, of either of the platoons if wiped out...

If you land at a friendly airfield, stop somewhere on the Tarmac turn the intercom on you can then contact ground crew for rearming.

Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing

When it comes to the rearm, don't make my first mistake... I cleared all the units leading up to their target point; I then sent them on and RTB'd to rearm/refuel. Low and behold more targets "appeared" and destroyed them very quickly. I was just getting airborne again when I got the mission failure message.

Thank you guys. Unfortunately I had no chance to retry the mission because the campaign selected another one - But my new mission was quite similiar and I had to contact other flights as well
