JCook Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 When shutting down Windows the green lights on my TM WH HOTAS remain on. I have them plugged into a powered USB hub and am having to disconnect the USB cable to power down the throttle quadrant. Is there a setting to turn off the lights when the pc is shutting down or when exiting the A10 sim?

Is there a setting to turn off the lights when the pc is shutting down or when exiting the A10 sim? No. As long as the unit has power the LEDs will remain in the state they were in when Target was shutdown. Without Target there is no facility to control the lights and they will remain on (their default state). You could use the Target GUI to turn them off but that seem rather pointless when you could just as easily unplug them. sobek Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 You have to play with your USB power settings in your BIOS. Depending on your motherboard and BIOS version, it might be impossible to disable the lights. If that is the case, all you can do is shut them off entirely through T.A.R.G.E.T. or cut off their power supply while they are not in use. Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! PoleCat Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 (edited) There is no setting to have the LEDs shut off when you shut down the PC that I am aware of. You can open Target and then select click the "Control LED Status" button below the throttle picture. You can adjust the intesity of the LEDs and turn them off and on this way. Honestly every now and then when I have not used it in a few days I hold my breath and peek under my Warthog Throttle cover to make sure the lights are still on. So far so good.
