I have the same problem this button just stopped working. Seems like they may have a design or manufacturing problem with this button. I have friends in my online squadron who have had other button/switch problems with their Warthogs.

A shame after all this time they cannot sort out these quality issues! This is certainly a great HOTAS otherwise.

Actually, Amazon are very good at replacing faulty goods. Contact them, and they will usually send the replacement to you before you even dispatch the old item back to them. They send a courier to collect it, and it costs you nothing.

That is the best first step unless it is an older item, in which case, if it is under warranty, then Guillemot (Warthog makers) are responsible for collection and return of the item. I expect they too would use a courier for something as valuable and heavy as the Warthog. They are based in France, which is why it is there that you'll return it to.

I think the Q button (left throttle button) is a momentary push button. You only need to figure out the dimension of the red cap and I think it is sold in many places for less that a buck. Just make sure it comes conformal with the throttle. To do this, if you find a momentary push button, open its specs PDF (there usually is one) and check the nut diameter.

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

I have a very similar experience. I thought I had broken the button somehow. I could not even remember when I could possibly use the PATH/ALT/HDG three way switch in a manner to break it. It just stopped working and will not even move. I will contact customer support for a replacement. Thanks

I have the same problem and took a look inside the throttle to find out how to replace it. It's soldered together with the EAC, RDR ALTM and AUTOPILOT ENGAGE switch to a daughter board which is not easily removed. Beyond my soldering skills, sadly. :noexpression:
