So i decided to dig my 20" LCD out of storage and rig it up on my desk to put the Shkval display on so i could quite doing the zoom-dance every time i needed to light up a target.

I figured an advanced simulator like Black-Shark 2 would have an easy-to-use multi-monitor configuration built in...

boy was i ever mistaken... after two hours of digging through threads on various fora, it appears that the only method to set up what i want is to run the game in a window and do some heavy LUA voodoo to get it all to work...

This presents several problems for me, the least of which is actually dicking around with lua (i detest coding). The biggest problem is the "running in a window" thing. My system does not like to run BS2 as it is, and switching to windowed mode means loosing framerate.

Is there no simple solution for this that lets me leave the sim running full-screen? If i had known before i bought this thing that i was buying a software-developer simulator instead of a flight simulator...

Here is some help:

even more "voodoo" (:D) but in fullscreen:

SoftTH NEWS

and the configuration tool will be you friend

>>> SoftTh 2.x configuration tool

;)And here is a slap for you:

i bought this thing that i was buying a software-developer simulator instead of a flight simulator... mad.gif

^^^this is a bad habit and only speaks of a lack of understanding how the rendering in DirectX is done...

...should ED/TFC also develop the drivers for your hardware?! (BTW: You didn't even mentioned what are you using...)

...just wondering...

BTW.. "my 20" LCD" just says nothing ....

I'll give that a try, thanks...

and if i sound excessively irritated, i apologize... I tend to be an excessively stressed individual, and when my chosen methods of stress relief start fighting me, i get pissy...

you just shouldn't post on a forum ... been there , done that ! <- this will bring you not any further , believe me!

much better : play a point'n'click adventure:

BEN THERE, DAN THAT ! (the first episode is for free!)

...or breath some minutes and take a walk ... and than start again.

Please read through all posts in the thread I have posted in posting #2 and place a support request when needed.
