cichlidfan Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 I suspect, that the Trim Reset function is a cheat carried over from at least BS1, or possibly earlier code. It is redundant in the A-10 but it is useful in the Ka-50 or Mustang (and possibly other aircraft), which do not have an automatic Trim Reset in RL. I suspect you're wrong. ;) Warning: Nothing I say is automatically correct, even if I think it is.
cichlidfan Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 I suspect you're wrong. ;) I am not sure what you are trying to show me. I know the A-10 has a T/O Trim button. The question being asked by JayPee, is why there is that function and a Trim Reset within the game controls. The Trim Reset function, in the game, exists for all (I think) aircraft. PeterP Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 I suspect you're wrong. ;) No - i suspect you are wrong in understanding what cichlidfan wrote. He didn't denied that a take-off-trim function exists in the a-10 . - He just pointed out that the trim-reset is kinda cheat in the other planes. edit: ...norrised once again...

Right, well thats why I always quote the people I'm directly replying to. Whoops. Warning: Nothing I say is automatically correct, even if I think it is.
