blackpulpit Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Hello all, I was wondering if there is a working modman for DCS A10?, I asked because I went to lockon files and downloaded the Modman 7.3 and then the patch for DCS A10 which you download and open, then says to unzip and copy the Modman folder to the drive where Modman 7.3 is installed, which I did but still shows no DCS A10, can anyone help me with this, thanks.
Hamblue Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Yes it works with DCS A-10. You have to install a patch for it to work. Here's the link: http://www.lockonfiles.com/index.php/files/category/373-modman/ Asus Sabertooth P67 Motherboard 2600k CPU, 16 gig DDR3, 1600. blackpulpit Posted April 29, 2012 Author Posted April 29, 2012 Hamblue yes thank you, but it seems my problem is still this, when I click on my Modman desktop icon and bring up the "select game management" screen I still after doing it twice fail to see any DCSA10 or the KA50V2 either so I cannot select it to find it, any ideas? doing it twice meaning patch it.
blackpulpit Posted April 29, 2012 Author Posted April 29, 2012 can anyone help me figure how to correct this?
Hamblue Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 When you install the patch DCS A-10 and KA50 are added to the list Asus Sabertooth P67 Motherboard 2600k CPU, 16 gig DDR3, 1600. Samsung 830, 256 gig hard drive, GTX780 Video Card, Warthog Hotas, Razer Mamba mouse. Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals. Trackir 5, Verizon FIOS 25Meg Up/Down
blackpulpit Posted April 29, 2012 Author Posted April 29, 2012 I have patched it and even manually placed the files into the correct area (I believe) and still it shows no A10 or BS2 in the beginning screen, so therefore I can't direct Modman to the folders.
badger66 Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 I have the same issue , I manually add the files , 2 KA50 appear , but no DCS A-10C ?
Sarge55 Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Hey Black.. I had no problem when I did the patch to Modman so if the files are in the correct location within Modman perhaps Modman is borked. Try reinstalling Modman from scratch and IIRC Modman should be installed in the root directory not in program files. Good luck. blackpulpit Posted April 29, 2012 Author Posted April 29, 2012 Sarge do you mean root directory for DCS A10 ? thanks
badger66 Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 I got it working, thanks all. What did you do please ?
Hamblue Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Best thing to do is follow the patch installation instructions exactly. You can find them in the link on the first page of this thread. blackpulpit Posted April 30, 2012 Author Posted April 30, 2012 Badger I had to delete all files of my Modman and then re-download again Modman and again patch it and it worked, but, what I noticed is that this time there is only a Modman folder and then the contents, were as mine before had a Modman folder with another Modman folder within that, plus the other contents. So check to see if this is happening with you, if you have 2 Modman folders one inside the other than that is wrong, hope this helps.
