Cobra360 Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 I have put my eye on this stick. The only thing is it will cost me E169.95, for just the stick while I can get a HOTAS Cougar for E199.95 from the same site. If I want the throttle as well, which I do it will cost another E169.95. Whats the deal here? I thought the Cougar was the most expensive stick/Hotas around. If anyone knows where I can get a brand new CH Fighter Stick for less could they please let me know. Cheers,:D
Guest ruggbutt Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 I got mine for $101 delivered from newegg.com. Head over to the CH Hangar and ask if anyone knows of a distributor that is closer to where you live. Revvin' is in the UK and you're in the general vicinity, so he might be able to point you in the right direction.
Cobra360 Posted October 8, 2005 Author Posted October 8, 2005 Thanks for quick reply Ruggbut. Thats a good idea.
Cobra360 Posted October 8, 2005 Author Posted October 8, 2005 I tried CH Hanger but that place is a ghost town. Ruggbutt did that $101 include P&P and about how long did delivery take? Thanks again. Revvin has got back to me and said thats the best I can get unless I import one from the U.S like you did.
walternowi Posted October 20, 2005 Posted October 20, 2005 In the U.S., the cheapest place to get a CH Products Hotas set is provantage.com. I got the usb Fighterstick, Pro Throttle and Pro Pedal set last month for $274.00 plus shipping. The cheapest ground shipping is around $30. I am not sure how much they charge for overseas shipping, so Cobra, you have to check with them. walternowi Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 Quote: "Whew, they burned you on shipping then. I got mine shipped for 11 bucks and some change. Look slike they're making the difference back up in those "handling" charges. It does not cost that much to get one shipped on FedEx ground, USPS Ground or UPS ground." That's OK. With the higher shipping price, it all boils down to ~$310. I think either newegg or provantage are good choices to get the CH HOTAS. Heh you do see the irony of your callsign "latearrival" bringing a 6 yr old thread back to life? :megalol: 1 [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
