cagrimes Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 After completing my first Ramp Start by following Memphisbelle's Start Up Manual I got permission too taxie and Take-Off. I advanced the throttle but the plane would not move, even after going to full power. Is there a Parking Brake or Chokes that could be stopping the plane from moveing ????????? cagrimes
ralfidude Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 your breaks are inverted, are you using paddles for yaw? [sIGPIC]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b66/ralfidude/redofullalmost_zpsa942f3fe.gif[/sIGPIC]

EtherealN Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 If you are using toebreaks, you may want to use Axis Tune to invert the axis on them. Ein Name wie kein Name Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Press RCTRL+ENTER to bring up the input overview and check the axes. Inverted means that without pushing the toe brakes, full brakes are applied. ralfidude Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 What concerns me is that even at full power and holding down the breaks, you should start to roll. Breaks are effective up to like 80% core thrust, after that its gonna roll... [sIGPIC]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b66/ralfidude/redofullalmost_zpsa942f3fe.gif[/sIGPIC]

It isn't smart or allowed but it's possible, especially with chocks installed. v303d Fighter Group Discord | Virtual 303d Fighter Group Website
