ED Team Chizh Posted May 18, 2012 ED Team Posted May 18, 2012 We have intention to do an animation of a exit pilot from cockpit on the ground. But we have not any video. Could you give a links to video of it process? Единственный урок, который можно извлечь из истории, состоит в том, что люди не извлекают из истории никаких уроков. (С) Джордж Бернард Шоу

LcSummers Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Sorry no, he steps on the landing gear, then wing and then crawls in. So he is not exiting the plane but if you reverse the animation.

ED Team JimMack Posted May 18, 2012 ED Team Posted May 18, 2012 (edited) Thanks Is there are video where pilot go down from trailing edge of wing? You always climb in and out from leading edge. Update: Having looked at the 2nd WW training video, the pilot steps out and does leave by the trailing edge, making sure he does not step on the flaps that are down! Nevertheless, we do encourage pilots, especially if they have been passengers in the twin cockpit version to leave by the leading edge. If you are still wearing your parachute, you could overbalance when stepping down from the trailing edge and hit the flaps, which is not good news!
