Joe Kurr Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 AFAIK you can install World on any PC you like (as you don't need a key for World) Modules like P-51 need a key, and therefore can be installed on only one PC. Dutch Flanker Display Team | LLTM 2010 Tiger Spirit Award
con3para Posted May 18, 2012 Author Posted May 18, 2012 what about multiplayer ..LAN..i have it on two computers and asks for KEY...??? HAF TOWER / MSI z77 G43 /-i5-3570k.@ 3.4mhz / GTX 780 / Patriot 8GB. DDR3 / TM-HOTAS-warthog 00228
Joe Kurr Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 DCS World with no key will only work in single player. If you want multiplayer, you will need a key for every computer you use. Dutch Flanker Display Team | LLTM 2010 Tiger Spirit Award
EtherealN Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Not quite true: you can install on multiple computers, but you are not allowed to actually use it on both those computers at the same time. For example, let's assume you're a student, and you have one computer at your dorm, and one at home with your parents. This is fine: Installed on both computers, so that you don't have to move the computers to play when you go back home etc. This is not fine: Playing from your dorm while your kid brother plays on the computer you have at home. The reason people purchase multiple licenses is often that they intend to use one key on a perpetually online server (a "dedicated" server), and then obviously they'll need another key for their own play. Soulres Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 (edited) ok i hear you , but i have two A10 - KEYS AND ONE BLACKSHARK2 - KEY ..which one do i use , as its showing blackshark2 - key ..if you know what i mean .. Use one key on your computer ( For YOU to play with ) and Use the other on the other computer ( The person you want to play with )and for BS2, Enter it in for Who ever wants to play it, Either You,Or a Friend or Another Friend. A10c and BS2 can play together. so all Three of you can play together. Or you can give it to one of your friends or use it for yourself. If it asks for a BS2 key, and you dont want to enter it in, Click Exit on it Three Times and it will load your game, It does that for me with the P51 Key screen, Edited May 18, 2012 by Soulres
