Justin Case Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 I'm having a problem with this mission, i cant fly it! :( Whenever i load the mission it seems to freeze just after selecting open. I cant even get to the briefing page. This affects both the SP and MP versions of the mission. Funny thing is the software doesn't freeze completely as i can still press alt-F4 to get the "Do you really want to exit" question, it just stops with a spinning wheel cursor and "Loading..." visible on the screen. It was the Armed houses that have been removed from the latest versions of DCS World :) I edited the mission file directly with Notepad++ and I swapped them out for infantry. It now loads up perfectly in the ME, so I'm off to fly it! Really great atmosphere up there... ...but there is this one little thingeye, we passed south of the two armour groups, pulling towards the sea, then going north and somehow we got to the Dagger area before even knowing they were down... And that made us receive instructions from Dagger even before command told use they were down... I suppose there should be a flag that lets Dagger contact you only after you received the CSAR task from command... Really enjoyed the mission... although we really had a hard time spotting the flare (how many times can the flare be popped?)... AAR: The bastards punched through my left engine, but I couldn't leave Dagger... A wounded animal bites the most... We wreaked havoc on the engaging armor... my girl didn't let me down, even on one engine, she made me spray some CBU-105 and depleted uranium on them evil souls... But the way home was the interesting part... I pulled out of the AO watching the fuel slip away, hoping to reach homeplate... My feet were almost touching the runway... but she wouldn't land... Aborted the approach, turned for another go... and then realized my gear would not go up... on one engine I was damned... She choked on me like 200m in the left turn from the runway... Was it fuel or battle dammage, I don't know... It was darkness, fear and a lot of "No no nooooo!". I clutched to the cockpit the hardest I could, and did she bounce me arround... like we never were lovers... but I knew, we were still One... Silence, pain... throught the faint lights I see the grass... turn my goggles on... My Angel lost her wings, but kept my soul... we were still One... Flare can be popped unlimited times usually. You have to "refresh" the F10 radio menu by closing it and re-opening it after the "flare loaded" message.
