I recently purchased a copy and I thought It would be easy to gift it to a friend of mine.

I saw no way to do it on the site, I submitted a ticket and haven't gotten a reply back.

Am I doing something wrong?

Tell him to download the files then buy another code and give it to him.

Any Way to Gift DCS P-51?

Yes! - just send me your money! :)

seriously:

No - no such option in the system of DCS up to now. (even I read on the German side that something like this is planed)

When you send him a Activation-code that is owned by you (remember: a activation is bound to your user account at http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com )

You both share the same account in MP games...

So you will have to ask the customer-support to divide this two activations.

Much better: Ask your friend to create a user account at DCS and let him pass you his login information temporary - so you can buy a Activation for him on his account.

Than your friend changes his password and everything is save.

Yeah! -I know - this is no surprise any more . ....Just write him that he already owns a activation , but he has to follow some steps beforehand...:)

BTW: I'm pretty sure a mod will come up shortly to clear this.

Edit: seems that my answer didn't reached you soon enough and I didn't typed fast enough....(damn... 10 min, damn!...)

I gave him the code but it said something along the lines of "This code isn't registered under this account"

Unfortunately I already purchased the copy of P-51 and he doesn't want to use this account because he wants to be able to switch between aircraft quickly in DCS world.

Wait for the response to your support ticket - they will reply.
