112th_Rossi Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 In 1.1.1.1 the Num 0 + Num 1 view was the radios and throttle quadrant, and Num 0 + Num 2 was the CDU pad. Now they are the Left and Right MFCD respectively... why? How do I bring up the old views?
Nate--IRL-- Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 They are broken in your version as is snapview saving. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next Beta. Nate Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading
Daze Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 I have the same problem, trying to make a flight plan on the CDU using TrackIR is really frustrating. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] First to Fight, First to Strike.
cichlidfan Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 You will have to replace the SnapViews.lua with one from a previous version. Assuming the problem is just in the lua file. My recollection is that someone made a bunch of screwy changes to that file for no apparent reason. I would install one from v1.1.1.1 unless you had a custom version. 112th_Rossi Posted June 9, 2012 Author Posted June 9, 2012 Cool thanks. Found that I couldn't enter any CDU data with TIR as I couldn't contort my neck to the right angle to read the pad. lol.

cichlidfan Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 You may actually have to replace SnapViewsDefault.lua since the way it is broken it is hard to be sure which is being used. You should be able to just make a copy of SnapVeiws.lua and rename it, if need be. cichlidfan Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 FWIW, I have found it quite handy to make a copy the sim immediately after I install it. That way I have a full set of virgin files. It has proved useful on many occasions thus far. I think I will be keeping a copy of A-10, and BS-2, v1.1.1.1 around for a while. At the very least, burn a copy of the install folder onto DVD. 112th_Rossi Posted June 9, 2012 Author Posted June 9, 2012 I also noticed when I was porting over my X52 ingame settings, I exported the profile from 1.1.1.1 but when I used the Load Profile option 1.1.2.1 you could browse to the folder but the file would not be listed, you had to type the name of the file in manually and click OK. This confused me.
cichlidfan Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 Hmm,did not have that issue. I imported my hand made Warhog Combined lua, from v1.1.1.1 to v1.1.2.1 with no problem.
