Conure Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 (edited) (messed up topic, meant to say "are there any strings"..) Hey all, Got a good friend of mine that is quite interested in the DCS series, however he only has a single joystick (with about 3 buttons..) and no TrackIR etc. With DCS World, is it completely free? My plan is (if it's possible) to get him to download the SU25b with DCS World and play that online with me in some coop missions. Hopefully that'll interest him enough to invest in a HOTAS and the A10 or Shark. - I would presume due to the simplicity of the SU25 in terms of avionics, it's probably much more "doable" than a more advanced yet with a single joystick. Is this possible or will be need some sort of paid licence? cichlidfan Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Free, download and fly. EDIT: Oops, missed the online part. That, AFAIK, required a paid module to be installed. SP works fine with just World installed but not MP. DCS Blackshark DCS Warthog II DCS Mustang or FC3 once it gets released. (not sure if Combined Arms will count as a license to, since it doesn't contain any aircraft) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] The keeper of all mathematical knowledge and the oracle of flight modeling.:)
